In the EU (and most countries in the world) you are legally required to carry a radio license if you have radio broadcasting equipment on board your sailing/motor yacht. You can receive a hefty fine and have your radio equipment confiscated if you do not have a valid radio license on board your vessel.
We can quickly and cheaply take care of the arrangements for receiving your radio license.
When you also register your yacht with us you will receive your MMSI radio license for just €150 (plus VAT) instead of the usual €250.
Within one working day, you will receive from us:
- Radio License valid worldwide
- MMSI number
- AIS number
- Call Sign
The original documents will be sent by post within two weeks.
In the Netherlands, an annual radio license tax of €60 must be paid upon registration and then every subsequent year by the end of November for the following calendar year.
